Being responsible for elder adult family members, children and/or pets can sometimes make it tricky to achieve work life balance. MSU’s network of supportive programs and agencies is helpful in managing dependent care challenges.
The Animal Health Center (AHC) is the clinical service unit of the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine and is open to the public and functions as a primary care and referral center for the treatment of companion animals, horses, and livestock in the state of Mississippi, as well as the surrounding states. The AHC serves as the primary focus for clinical instruction of veterinary students and is a setting that provides postgraduates opportunity for expanded study as they complete internships or residencies. Pet care videos are currently being developed and posted at the AHC website.
